Tejer y emprender para romper con el círculo de la violencia
Salir del infierno no es fácil. En el camino las víctimas deben enfrentarse con el agresor, pero también con los prejuicios sociales y las dificultades económicas. Un taller de crochet en el Polo de la Mujer no solo las ayuda a tener una salida laboral, también a tejer redes frente a las violencias machistas para reconstituirse como mujeres libres.

"Lo importante es enseñarles que ellas pueden (...) Que no tengan miedo, que hablen, que pregunten, que pidan ayuda". Desde hace algunas semanas, en el Polo Integral de la Mujer de San Francisco, un grupo de mujeres aprenden mucho más que crochet, tejen un gran lazo colectivo, porque de la violencia de género no se sale sola.
El número de alumnas del taller impulsado por el Centro de Desarrollo Regional (Ceder) es ínfimo en comparación con la cantidad de víctimas de un flagelo que tiene nombre, leyes, recursos, castigos, estadísticas, medidas, pero nada lo detiene, y con las múltiples violencias que sufren las mujeres cotidianamente. Sin embargo, allí cada historia está por encima de cualquier cifra.
"El objetivo no es apuntar a la cantidad de mujeres que capacitamos, sino que poder cambiarle la vida a cinco, ya es un montón", aseguran los profesionales involucrados en el proceso de asistencia y acompañamiento a quienes sufrieron o sufren violencia sexista, y cuentan que la finalidad de este espacio es poder brindarles una salida económica que les permita ser independientes.
Después de la violencia... ¿qué?
Parece imposible y cuesta mucho, pero se puede. "No se necesitan grandes lugares ni muchos materiales, solo con una aguja y un ovillo pueden crear cosas que luego pueden vender", le dice a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO la docente María Marta Moreno, después de darle la bienvenida a las chicas a su clase semanal de crochet y comenzar con lo básico: punto bajo, cadena, vareta... Así, punto a punto, el tejido, como metáfora de una red de contención en el proceso de recuperación de las víctimas, es paso a paso, siendo el primero identificar el problema, no naturalizarlo y luego, buscar apoyo.
En el aula de paredes y muebles blancos hay paz, una paz que tiene otro color para quienes vivieron relaciones de gritos, maltratos, angustia, tristeza. "Ellas vienen con muchas ganas de aprender, muy motivadas. Están muy atentas a lo que les voy enseñando: cómo tomar la aguja, el hilo", describe la profesora que a partir de la experiencia en su taller particular vio nacer muchos emprendimientos personales; vio "potencial en las mujeres para generar su propio sueldo".

El poder en sus manos
Para María Marta, el tejido tiene forma de sororidad y empoderamiento, como rutas posibles frente a la violencia. Presentó su proyecto de taller a las autoridades del Ceder que no tardaron en decidir que el Polo de la Mujer sería un ámbito propicio para desarrollarlo.
"Siento que les estoy brindando una herramienta muy importante; que eso que yo sé lo puedo brindar a otros y me llena el alma -se confiesa la docente-. Es como que se empoderan, que el crochet les da poder".
En muchos casos, la dependencia económica impide dejar a una pareja violenta; las mujeres permanecen en lugares en los que sufren abusos porque no tienen opciones de vivienda o un ingreso propio. Y lograr la autonomía requiriere mucho más que leyes a favor de la igualdad de género, demanda políticas sólidas, un abordaje integral de la problemática y sobre todo, acercarles a las víctimas herramientas para hacerle frente.
"Tener algo propio, la tranquilidad y la certeza de que pueden hacer algo por ellas mismas para solventarse económicamente o para proveer el sustento al grupo familiar es una satisfacción que se percibe entre mis alumnas -agrega María Marta-. Aprender a hacer algo que es útil y que luego pueden aportar a la sociedad es muy importante. Sienten que valen, que tienen el poder en sus manos".

"A medida que van perfeccionando la técnica, ellas pueden hacer muchas cosas, desde prendas de vestir hasta productos de decoración, porque el crochet es un arte muy amplio".
Los materiales de trabajo para las clases los aporta el Ministerio de Promoción del Empleo y de la Economía Familiar; también ayudó una donación del Consejo Municipal de la Mujer.
"Les doy armas para empezar un emprendimiento, ese es mi motor. Ayudarlas y decirles que no tengan miedo, que hablen, que pregunten, que pidan ayuda. Si hay ganas y oportunidades, es algo extraordinario. Aprenden a tejer y eso no se lo quitará nadie, es suyo", afirma la profesora mientras les da aliento a sus alumnas: "Sos vos la jefa de tu vida, la salida está en tus manos".
Apoyando a las mujeres
Uno de los mecanismos para que las mujeres desarrollen su total potencial y adquieran herramientas para salir de círculos de violencia es a través de su empoderamiento económico. Es así que "pensamos en una capacitación para las mujeres con la idea de que luego pudieran tener su propio emprendimiento y desde su casa", señala Marcela Algarbe, responsable de la sede San Francisco del Ceder. No obstante, reconoce que "hoy todas las capacitaciones están atravesadas por la perspectiva de género. Hay mujeres que se capacitan en soldadura y herrería, colocación de durlock, electricidad, etc. Ya no hay cursos pensados para hombres o mujeres".
Esto "se trata de empezar a conectar con las necesidades de las mujeres que llegan al Polo. En esta problemática, un común denominador es la dependencia económica que existe con el agresor, a causa del aislamiento que se vive en los ámbitos de violencia, o que si son madres deben dedicarse al cuidado de los hijos porque muchas veces no tienen con quién dejarlos, todo eso influye en la brecha de género que existe a nivel laboral", explica Rodrigo Beccaría, coordinador del Polo de la Mujer.
"Son procesos sociales, hay una historia -la mayoría de las veces muy dura- en cada persona que se acerca. Entonces, el objetivo no es apuntar a la cantidad de mujeres que capacitamos, sino que poder cambiarle la vida a cinco, ya es un montón -manifiesta el entrevistado-. Hay que ver el contexto de todo esto, son mujeres que nunca tuvieron tiempo para ellas mismas, que siempre tuvieron que estar 'al servicio de', por esa razón a veces cuesta sostener los espacios individuales".
"Hay que entender que se trata de un proceso", insiste Beccaría y María Marta asiente: "Lo importante es enseñarles que ellas pueden".

Qué sigue
"Hay que enseñar a las mujeres a emprender y apoyarlas una vez que comiencen a hacerlo", sostiene Beccaría. Por ello, "al curso de crochet le sigue, en una segunda etapa, otro referido a la gestión de micro emprendimientos en el que además se les enseña cómo presentar documentación para solicitar un crédito en el Banco de la Gente, una de las políticas públicas de acceso al financiamiento que aplica en la provincia. Esto les permitirá comprar insumos para comenzar su propio negocio", acota Algarbe.
"La ministra de Promoción del Empleo y de la Economía Familiar de la provincia de Córdoba, Laura Jure, y la ministra de la Mujer, Claudia Martínez, vienen trabajando de manera conjunta para capacitar a la mayor cantidad de mujeres que ingresen tanto al Polo como a otros espacios que trabajan con víctimas de violencia y también con programas de ayuda económica para que puedan salir de ese calvario. Lo laboral siempre es una parte importante en este proceso, porque les dará autonomía en la vida", sigue Beccaría.
"Hay muchos otros proyectos y entre ellos, ideas para trabajar la parte gastronómica, pero todavía hay limitaciones edilicias. Se necesitará una inversión y reformas en la cocina del edifico donde funciona el Polo de la Mujer. Sabemos que los cursos vinculados a la panificación o pastelería son potencialmente importantes por la salida laboral, por eso, es algo que nos queda pendiente para el próximo año", indica Algarbe.

Pequeñas acciones con gran impacto
Las estadísticas no aflojan. Sólo en lo que va de este año hubo en Argentina un femicidio cada 27 horas. ¿Qué falla? "Actualmente en Córdoba funcionan más de 115 espacios Puntos Mujer -uno en nuestra ciudad-, un programa que impulsa y articula políticas de género con distintos actores públicos y privados; que hace un trabajo territorial en los barrios para llegar a esa gente que no llega al Polo de la Mujer; para acercarles información sobre todos los programas que hay para acompañar a las víctimas de violencia, algo que contribuirá a la prevención", resalta Beccaría.
"Claro que siempre uno quisiera llegar antes del problema, pero por múltiples causas es muy difícil. Pero nunca dejamos de ocuparnos del problema. Ponemos a disposición de las víctimas todas las herramientas del Estado para ayudarlas a salir de ese entorno violento y poder salir adelante".
En ese camino de lucha día a día, "es maravilloso ver esos pequeños resultados cotidianos. No importa si no hay 500 egresados, saber que personas que realizaron un curso de soldadura le venden a una industria sus parrillas, que viven de eso; o que las chicas que aprendieron a hacer tortas húngaras te cuenten que venden 50 por semana, eso es muy gratificante", alega Algarbe.
"Son tantos los recursos que el Estado destina para capacitar y por suerte hay muchísima gente que valora eso y lo aprovecha", finaliza.
