Sergio Berni, con licencia por los golpes que le dieron choferes de colectivos
El ministro de Seguridad de la provincia de Buenos Aires dejará su cargo, al menos hasta el 25 de mayo, para poder recuperarse de las secuelas tras la agresión sufrida durante una manifestación a principios de abril.
El ministro de Seguridad bonaerense, Sergio Berni, se tomará licencia médica en su cargo, para recuperarse de las heridas sufridas durante la golpiza que le dieron choferes de colectivos en la marcha en la que reclamaban por el asesinato de Daniel Barrientos en La Matanza, el pasado 3 de abril en La Matanza.
La medida fue informada mediante un escueto comunicado de la Gobernación provincial en el que se puntualiza que "se le otorga licencia médica al ministro Sergio Berni hasta el próximo 25 de mayo inclusive, para complementar estudios médicos y el tratamiento correspondiente por una lesión en el seno maxilar".
Tras la decisión, la gobernación bonaerense de Axel Kicillof informó que el subsecretario de Formación y Desarrollo Profesional, Javier Alonso, quedará a cargo de la coordinación funcional y operativa de la cartera de Seguridad, mientras que las cuestiones administrativas estarán momentáneamente a cargo del ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Julio Alak.
Berni fue golpeado duramente a principios de abril cuando se presentó sin custodia durante una manifestación que hacían colectiveros de La Matanza, reclamando más seguridad por asesinato del chofer Daniel Barrientos.
Cuándo el funcionario intentó dar explicaciones y prometió intensificar los patrullajes, varios trabajadores lo golpearon produciéndole, entre otras lesiones, una fractura en el maxilar.
Por el ataque fueron detenidos los choferes Jorge Oscar Galiano y Jorge Ezequiel Zerda, luego liberados pero bajo proceso judicial por las lesiones a Berni.
