El 23º Rally Ciudad de San Francisco tendrá tres días de actividad, para recorrer aproximadamente 120 kilómetros de pruebas especiales.
La 23º edición del “Rally Ciudad de San Francisco” ya empieza a asomar en el horizonte de la afición “fierrera”. Durante el fin de semana del 18, 19 y 20 de agosto, la sexta fecha del calendario cordobés de la especialidad tendrá como epicentro a nuestra ciudad y pasará por localidades vecinas para completar un recorrido de aproximadamente 120 kilómetros.
La prueba de grado 2, dado su extensión en días, promete un mayor atractivo, con el cambio de escenario del súper prime nocturno y el anexo de otros caminos con la sumatoria de nuevas localidades.
Eduardo Perotti, quien encabeza la organización de la carrera, en diálogo con LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO, empezó a palpitar el gran evento.
“La verdad que los grandes cambios que ofrecerá esta edición es que serán más días de competencia visitando más localidades, y el cambio de escenario del súper primer nocturno que será en la Plaza Vélez Sarsfield a diferencia de la anterior que se hizo en el ingreso a la ciudad”.
“Se utilizará la plaza en su totalidad, que estará vallada, habrá full tracks, baños químicos, carpas vip, simulador de autos de carreras. Queremos que ese viernes 17 a partir de las 20 sea una fiesta”.
“Aprovecharemos esa rotonda espectacular alrededor del monumento a J.B. Iturraspe, donde se colocarán tribunas para la gente y también se instalará una pantalla gigante para seguir el recorrido de los autos”.
“Ese tramo especial tendrá una distancia aproximada de 1150 metros, en las dos puntas de la plaza se dará una vuelta en U, finalizando en bulevar Roca, del otro lado de la plaza”, acotó.
Además destacó que otra de las novedades para este año será el retorno de Plaza San Francisco con un prime mixto. “Como sabemos Plaza San Francisco ha tenido un avance muy importante con el apoyo de la Municipalidad en lo que hace a la obra de pavimentación tanto sea en el acceso como alrededor de la plaza”.
“Queremos mostrar esta obra, así que se girará allí con salida a los campos con un prime muy lindo de alrededor de 7 kilómetros de extensión, que irá por zonas de tierra y pavimento”.
Así también otras localidades se sumarán al organigrama de la carrera. “Esta será una de las dos carreras en el año de grado 2, la otra será a fin de año con el gran premio. De ahí que tocaremos cinco localidades santafesinas como Esmeralda, Josefina, Bauer y Sigel, Colonia Cello y Zenón Pereyra, que se suman a San Francisco”, cerró.
Cabe recordar que luego del especial nocturno del viernes 18 en la plaza Vélez Sarsfield, al día siguiente la competencia transitará las pruebas de velocidad de Esmeralda, Zenón Pereyra y Colonia Cello.
La etapa final se correrá el domingo con los tramos de Bauer y Sigel, Josefina y Plaza San Francisco.
El Parque de Asistencia tendrá lugar nuevamente en el predio de la Sociedad Rural, donde se instalarán los equipos y la dirección de la prueba.
Cabe recordar que tal como sucedió en 2022, se pondrá en disputa la “Copa Ciudad de San Francisco”, reservada únicamente para pilotos y navegantes que representen a nuestra ciudad y un radio de influencia.
Los organizadores esperan la presencia de más de 90 binomios que compiten habitualmente en el presente certamen de Rally Cordobés, como así también más de 15 tripulaciones sanfrancisqueñas y de la región, por lo que se superaría el centenar de máquinas.
