Municipios avanzan en acciones para apoyar los derechos de la niñez y adolescencia
Se realizó en San Francisco una reunión de la Unidad Ejecutiva de Municipios Unidos por la Niñez y Adolescencia (Muna) y se estableció un compromiso a mediano plazo para la implementación de políticas públicas efectivas.
San Francisco ha dado un paso importante en la protección de los derechos de la niñez y la adolescencia con la reunión de la Unidad Ejecutiva de Municipios Unidos por la Niñez y Adolescencia (Muna). El encuentro, realizado en Tecnoteca, reunió a diversos actores clave para comenzar a elaborar el Plan de Acción Municipal que se implementará en los próximos tres años.
El intendente Damián Bernarte destacó la importancia del evento: "Este encuentro es parte del convenio que la municipalidad de San Francisco firmó a fines del año pasado con la red de Muna, que requiere de un trabajo por etapas que nos hemos comprometido a realizar". Bernarte agregó que tras un diagnóstico inicial, el siguiente paso es "pensar un proyecto sistemático de políticas públicas dirigidas a niños y adolescentes de San Francisco, con el apoyo y orientación de Muna".
El Plan de Acción Municipal de San Francisco abordará cinco temáticas centrales: estrategias integrales en primera infancia, inclusión educativa de adolescentes fuera de la escuela, entornos libres de violencias, promoción de derechos de niñez y adolescencia con discapacidad, y medio ambiente, cambio climático y acceso a servicios básicos.
Amelia López, defensora de los Derechos de las Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes de la Provincia de Córdoba, recordó la apertura de la subsede de la Defensoría en San Francisco hace un año. López enfatizó que "los niños, niñas y adolescentes viven situaciones muy complejas, y es necesario que la sociedad esté concientizada de que son sujetos de derechos". Agregó que el trabajo de la Defensoría y el proyecto Muna busca crear una "arquitectura institucional" que apoye y garantice estos derechos.
Fernanda Potenza, directora del proyecto Muna Unicef Argentina, informó que la estrategia Muna se está implementando en 9 provincias argentinas, con 103 municipios comprometidos. Potenza resaltó que "es un orgullo poder decir que 72 municipios ya han recibido la 'Distinción de Municipio Comprometido con la Niñez y la Adolescencia'".
En relación a San Francisco, Potenza indicó que "está en una etapa de empezar a pensar las acciones, con una estrategia a seguir y la clave está en cómo cada equipo municipal llena ese plan de acción con acciones concretas que respondan a las prioridades locales".
