Más de 400 alumnos se preparan para el 20º Modelo de Naciones Unidas
Se llevará a cabo el 13, 14 y 15 de octubre en nuestra ciudad.
El pasado viernes, en el Palacio Tampieri se realizó la presentación formal de quienes serán las autoridades generales de la 20º edición del Modelo de Naciones Unidas que organiza la Asociación Puentes Enteros en nuestra ciudad y que durante el 13, 14 y 15 de octubre convocará a más de 400 alumnos de nivel medio de San Francisco y la región en debates sobre la realidad socio política a nivel mundial.
Para este edición serán aproximadamente 30 las escuelas que participarán provenientes de San Francisco y de localidades como Devoto, Freyre, La Francia, María Juana, Santa Clara, Balnearia, Miramar, Rafaela y Porteña, a los que se le sumarán dos colegios que vendrán de la provincia de San Juan.
Agustina Chaves, Gino Buffa y Yamila Walker, miembros de Puentes Enteros y de la organización del evento, indicaron a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO que para este año la agenda de debates tendrá como temas a desarrollar por cada uno de los delegados que intervengan en los diferentes órganos, tópicos como los niños en conflictos armados; el conflicto en Sudán del Sur y el de Palestina, en el Consejo de Seguridad; en el Consejo Económico Social se va a hablar sobre la prevención del delito; en el Consejo de Derechos Humanos se tratará el tema de los derechos de las mujeres, mientras que en la Asamblea General se va a debatir sobre el terrorismo internacional.
De cara una nueva edición del modelo de la ONU, los miembros del comité organizador resaltaron la importancia de que la iniciativa se mantenga vigente durante tantos años e ininterrumpidamente y resaltaron que año a año son cada vez más los alumnos de 2º a 6º año de los diferentes establecimientos educativos que se suman a participar del modelo.
