“La mayoría de la gente debería decidir donar órganos”, dijo el papá de Julieta Taborda
La joven de 15 años murió tras chocar su moto con un auto el pasado fin de semana, pero hoy "un poquito de ella vive en cada una de las personas" que recibieron sus órganos. "Aunque esto no calma tanto dolor, alivia saber que se cumplió la voluntad de mi hija", dijo Beto Taborda y pidió más campañas de concientización de uso del casco.
El papá de la adolescente sanfrancisqueña de 15 años que falleció luego de un accidente de tránsito y salvó al menos 13 vidas tras su muerte a través de la donación de órganos, llamó a la concientización de la sociedad sobre la necesidad de que más personas tomen la decisión de donar y al vez, pidió a los motociclistas que usen el casco y que el municipio intensifique las campañas de educación vial.
"La mayoría de la gente debería tomar la decisión de donar", expresó Beto Taborda, padre de Julieta, quien confirmó a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO que tras la ablación, su hija "pudo salvar la vida de otras 13 personas, en su mayoría niños que estaban esperando un órgano en el Hospital Garrahan de Buenos Aires para seguir viviendo".
"Juli no solo salvó sus vidas, sino que siento que un poquito de ella vive en cada una de esas personas y aunque esto no calma tanto dolor, alivia saber que se cumplió la voluntad de mi hija, que era donar sus órganos y salvar a otros", agregó con la voz entrecortada. Y agradeció "todas las manifestaciones de cariño y enorme apoyo de la gente" en una sociedad que aún no sale de la conmoción por lo ocurrido.
Julieta murió el pasado domingo después de que la moto que conducía chocara contra un auto Fiat Cronos rojo, conducido por un hombre de 41 años en la esquina de calles España y bulevar Roca, cerca de las 4.30 de esa madrugada. En la motocicleta Guerrero Trip 110cc ella viajaba junto a otra joven de la misma edad que no sufrió lesiones de gravedad.

Julieta fue trasladada en un primer momento al Hospital José Bernardo Iturraspe de nuestra ciudad pero por la gravedad de las heridas la trasladaron al Hospital Pasteur de Villa María, donde, según contó Beto, el momento en que los médicos le dijeron que su hija "tenía muerte cerebral, que ya no había nada que hacer" el mundo se le desmoronó por completo.
"Es una tormenta que no se la deseo a nadie", confesó el hombre, en tanto contó que en ese instante, estando solo en el pasillo del hospital, pudo pensar rápidamente y "con los pies sobre la tierra" en qué hubiera querido su hija y responderles a los médicos que le confirmaron la triste noticia, "sí, vamos a donar los órganos", una decisión que le daría otra oportunidad a otras personas.
Julieta tenía 15 años.
El procedimiento de ablación de órganos de la joven, con la participación de personal del Instituto Nacional Central Único Coordinador de Ablación e Implante (Incucai), se realizó rápidamente, cumpliendo los tiempos previstos para estos casos, pero le dio tiempo a la familia para despedirse de Julieta. "De hecho, una tía suya, mi hermana, que estaba en Perú pudo llegar ese lunes para despedirse de Juli".

"Julieta era una chica alegre, buena, generosa, esa madrugada cometió una travesura, porque no tenía que salir y lo hizo", recordó Beto y bregó porque existan en la ciudad "más campañas de concientización sobre el uso del casco cuando se va en motocicleta, porque todos podemos tener un accidente. ¡Usen el casco, por favor!".
"Es importante que los vehículos cumplan las normas viales y estén en condiciones, pero si no se educa y concientiza sobre ello, es insuficiente. No se trata solo de perseguir a los infractores, sino de trabajar para que no vuelvan a trasgredir y cuiden si vida y la de los demás".
"Al intendente Damián Bernarte le pido que dirija la política de tránsito hacia la prevención. Que se hagan más campañas de concientización y educación vial. Voy a luchar por eso, por la memoria de Julieta", finalizó.
