“Es una situación de locura, nunca pensamos volver a vivir algo así en Europa”
De visita en San Francisco por un proyecto internacional en Argentina, el alcalde de Capriva del Friuli (Italia), Daniele Sergon contó el shock que significó el desarrollo del conflicto entre Rusia y Ucrania.
Daniele Sergon se siente en su casa mientras visita San Francisco, no tiene necesidad de reafirmar su nacionalidad italiana y las raíces de su pueblo porque son idénticas a las que construyeron San Francisco. Lógico que él no es un ciudadano más allá sino el alcance de la localidad de Capriva del Friuli.
Los motivos que lo trajeron a Argentina radican en un proyecto internacional cooperativista que busca darle valor agregado a la práctica en las localidades de Avellaneda y Sunchales en la provincia de Santa Fe, pero también sirvió como excusa para volver a la ciudad que visitó en 2019 donde tiene grandes amigos con sus mismas raíces.
Su objetivo de visita es presentar el proyecto llevado adelante por la entidad Legacoop que agrupa a los cooperativistas en la región Friuli- Venezia Giulia mediante el cual se propone generar nuevas cooperativas de jóvenes, formarlos para que tomen conciencia de ello y financiar los tres mejores proyectos relacionados con el ambiente, agua, energía economía circular y temáticas similares.
Acompañado por el agente consular de Italia en San Francisco, Fernando Lorenzatto también aprovechó la oportunidad de contar cómo viven en su país los coletazos de la guerra que enfrenta a Ucrania y Rusia y que ya causa graves perjuicios económicos en el continente.
Sergon dijo de forma tajante: "Es una situación de locura, nunca pensamos volver a vivir algo así en Europa algo así después de 70 años de paz". Con gesto de dolor afirmó que las imágenes que están viendo no deberían formar parte de la realidad y las consecuencias de ello en cierto punto son inimaginables.
Capriva del Friuli es una localidad que se encuentra a 1000 kilómetros de la frontera con Ucrania y el desplazamiento de las personas genera también gran preocupación, de hecho, muchos se han alojado en la región con amigos, familiares o conocidos que están radicados ahí, pero que cuando todo termine no tendrán nada en Ucrania a nivel material o humano.
En paralelo a esto describió la afectación económica que ocasiona el rol atacante de Rusia en la economía de su país: "Genera mucha preocupación cuáles serán las consecuencias económicas, no es misterio que el 50 % del gas metano que llega a Italia viene de Rusia y provisiones como el maíz, trigo y soja que llegan en un 80 % desde ese país".
Tal es así que se registra de forma incipiente un aumento del costo de energía que trajo como consecuencia la reducción de la actividad industrial, donde por ejemplo grandes acerías debieron cerrar por el alto costo de los insumos.
El representante italiano fue recibido en el Palacio Municipal.
Se siente en casa
Al ser consultado sobre cómo se siente en su vista a San Francisco comentó que "es como estar en casa" ya que la ciudad tiene una gran impronta de Italia y las regiones cercanas adonde él gobierna.
"Acá se respira italianidad en todos lados, me siento un poco en casa. Es una ciudad en plena expansión industrial y habitacional, es una impronta que viene desde hace muchos años que le da importancia al trabajo, la industria, lo agroalimentario y se ve en los símbolos que están en la bandera de la ciudad", añadió.
En este sentido trazó un paralelismo claro cuando contó cómo es su hogar que tiene el privilegio de gobernar con gran apoyo popular desde hace 8 años.
"Capriva del Friuli es una pequeña comuna de 1800 habitantes donde la actividad principal es la viticultura de altísima calidad y está integrada a unas 25 localidades que gestionan distintos temas juntos como, por ejemplo, el agua, ambiente, energía, ambiente", expresó.
Por eso consideró Argentina es un socio ideal en estos temas para la comunidad europea e Italia, además de los motivos históricos porque compartimos valores que unen a las naciones.
El representante italiano fue recibido en el Palacio Municipal.
Visita protocolar
En la mañana de ayer Sergon estuvo en el Palacio Municipal donde se reunió con el intendente Damián Bernarte, éste último sostuvo: "Es una alegría poder recibirlo para empezar a idear proyectos conjuntos entre Italia y nuestra ciudad, pensando en temas específicos como sostenibilidad, medioambiente y tratamiento de residuos sólidos urbanos. El desafío es seguir avanzando en una materia que realmente debe ocuparnos de cara al futuro".
A partir de la visita institucional del intendente italiano, se prevé estrechar lazos entre San Francisco y la región Friuli- Venezia Giulia para avanzar en proyectos a futuro entre ambas regiones.
Junto al intendente Damián Bernarte, oficiaron de anfitriones los secretarios municipales de Gobierno Rodrigo Buffa y de Modernización Mario Daró, y el director general de Gestión Interna Raúl Angonoa.
Acompañaron al sindaco (intendente) de Capriva del Friuli, Daniele Sergon, el agente consular de Italia en San Francisco, Fernando Lorenzatto; el presidente de la Sociedad Italiana, Antonio Di Monte; el presidente de la Asociación Civil Escuela Dante Alighieri Germán Bossa; junto a la asesora legal de dicha entidad María del Corral y a Matías Carnaghi; la profesora de italiano Mariela Juárez; el presidente de Fogolar Furlan de San Francisco, Damián Bonino; entre otros.
