Diego Bartaburu, de NTVG: “Para nosotros, el premio es la gente”
La popular banda uruguaya regresa a San Francisco y habló con LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO y AM 1050 sobre sus sensaciones antes del recital y la gira internacional durante junio por Europa para celebrar su historia en canciones.
No Te Va Gustar continúa celebrando sus 30 años de banda por la Argentina y el mundo, y este viernes 7 de junio se presentará en San Francisco, en la previa de su show en la Plaza de la Música de Córdoba capital. De ahí, parten para una gran gira europea que comenzará con fechas en Mallorca, Alicante, Zaragoza, Berlín, Londres y Dublin.
La banda de rock se subirá al escenario de Bomberos Voluntarios desde las 21.30. Este espectáculo está especialmente diseñado para celebrar el éxito de la banda.
En esta oportunidad, los uruguayos se reencontrarán con el público sanfrancisqueño para repasar todos sus éxitos pero también para cantar aquellas canciones de un repertorio único que se adaptó a los cambios generacionales y estilos musicales. Además, NTVG es una de las agrupaciones de música más nominadas en los Premios Grammy Latinos.
El baterista de la banda, Diego Bartaburu, dialogó con LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO y AM 1050: “Hicimos gran parte de la gira y ahora arrancamos por la Argentina y luego partimos hacia Europa. La mayoría de los shows son en España, Londres, Dublín y Copenhague”.
“Este show es especial porque vamos a cantar canciones que hace mucho no tocamos, pero la gente también podrá elegir”, adelantó el músico.
“De a poco se van abriendo nuevas puertas, pero principalmente porque hay muchos argentinos y uruguayos que están viviendo en Europa y encontrarse con ellos es muy lindo, sobretodo poder llevarles un poco de su música, la que escuchaban cuando estaban acá. Para ellos es algo más que ver una banda, es como estar en su tierra. Es un privilegio tener ese rol en la vida de la gente, el hecho de ofrecerles un buen rato lejos de casa”, agregó el baterista de NTVG.
Sentirse locales
NTVG se formó en 1994 y logró conquistar al público hermano argentino. Para Bartaburu, “hubo un momento bisagra para la banda, el año 2010, cuando sacamos el disco ´El calor del pleno invierno´. Lo que vivimos fue una locura, desde viajar con seguridad, la gente que se colaba en los hoteles. Ese fue un momento increíble”, recordó.
El grupo de rock nació como una banda de covers pero necesitaban un nombre para la banda para un show y No Te Va Gustar fue un comentario que luego se convirtió en la marca que los identifica.
Aunque recibieron muchos premios, el grupo nunca ganó un Grammy. “Tuvimos muchas nominaciones pero nunca un premio. Para nosotros, el premio es la gente”, concluyó el entrevistado.
No Te Va Gustar continúa consolidándose como una de las bandas más queridas y exitosas de la escena musical latinoamericana. Este tour no solo celebra su historia en canciones, sino que también marca nuevos hitos en su carrera, reafirmando su posición como un ícono de la música.
