Las Varillas fabricará el primer tractor “híbrido” del país
Se trata de un desarrollo de Pauny en alianza con una empresa rusa. El motor combina el uso de gasoil y electricidad permitiendo un ahorro de combustible de hasta el 20%. Será un modelo articulado de alta potencia y la primera unidad estaría lista en agosto.
Un proyecto innovador de la fábrica de maquinaria agrícola Pauny, en Las Varillas, va camino a marcar un hito en la industria nacional. Se trata del primer tractor "híbrido" del país: funcionará con un motor que combina gasoil y electricidad.
Si bien la mayoría de los proyectos de motores híbridos que hay en el mercado están focalizados en bajas potencias, y en especial en la industria automotriz, el impulsor que motorizará el tractor articulado es de alta potencia.
La primera unidad- que será entre 310 y 350 caballos de fuerza-, se comenzaría a probar en agosto próximo, previo a la siembra gruesa.
Según anticiparon desde la empresa varillense a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO, el motor diésel, de marca Cummins, que equipa a los modelos 710 y 780 de la marca, hará funcionar un generador eléctrico que a su vez abastecerá al motor eléctrico.
Cabe mencionar que el nuevo tractor articulado 780 fue presentado recientemente en Expoagro, y será uno de los modelos elegidos para montar este nuevo motor "híbrido" para lo cual la empresa invirtió alrededor de 3 millones de dólares.
Un proyecto que inició en 2015
"La tendencia que venimos observando desde hace varios años es la disminución de los combustibles no renovables, y en esa misma orientación es que estuvimos analizando la posibilidad de fabricar un tractor híbrido, el mismo sistema que en los vehículos automotrices", expresó a este diario el gerente de Pauny, Eduardo Barbieri.
Asimismo, Barbieri comentó que la empresa varillense comenzó a trabajar en este proyecto a fines de 2015. "A través de la Agencia ProCórdoba, tomamos contacto con el grupo ruso Ruselprom, que se dedica a la fabricación de motores y de generadores eléctricos inclusive para aplicación de locomotoras y en aquel entonces para buses híbridos.".
"En junio de 2016, firmamos un memorándum de entendimiento con esta empresa para la fabricación de un tractor híbrido; hicimos intercambio de la información y nos abocamos al proyecto", continuó.
El primero, en agosto
Barbieri anticipó que "la parte eléctrica de generadores, controles y demás está a punto de embarcarse para la Argentina mientras que el primer tractor ya tiene listo el chasis delantero y el trasero articulado".
Consultado sobre la fecha en la que estará terminada la primera unidad, Barbieri dijo que "la idea era presentarlo en Agroactiva (muestra que se realizará en el mes de junio), pero viene algo demorado, por lo que estimamos que para agosto tendríamos el prototipo funcionando, previo a la siembra gruesa".
Más amigable con el medio ambiente y con el bolsillo del productor
Entre las ventajas que aportará este nuevo tractor híbrido, el gerente de la planta varillense mencionó el ahorro de combustible y evitar la contaminación del ambiente, a lo que se suma un amplio rango de velocidades al que puede adaptar el productor.
A grandes rasgos, el nuevo tractor funcionará de la siguiente manera: el motor diésel, de marca Cummins, que equipa a los modelos 710 y 780 de la marca, hará funcionar un generador eléctrico que a su vez abastecerá al motor eléctrico.
"Si el tractor requiere potencia, el motor eléctrico le avisa al generador que necesita más electricidad. A su vez, el generador le pide al diésel mayor velocidad porque necesita más corriente", precisó Barbieri.
Asimismo destacó que "siempre se va a trabajar en la mejor gama de revoluciones, lo que nos va a permitir un ahorro de combustible, que en los bancos de prueba en Rusia rondaba el 15-20%".
Además, manifestó que "se trata de un tractor más amigable con el medioambiente y con el bolsillo del productor".
Otra de las ventajas de este innovador producto se vinculada al rango de velocidades en el que puede trabajar y que va desde 0,5 kilómetros a 36 kilómetros por hora.
Finalmente, Barbieri comentó que "todas las multinacionales están trabajando en esta misma orientación, pero en rangos de baja potencia (55-75 CV), por lo que este sería el primero del país y esperamos sea uno de los mejores".
En cuanto a su precio de venta, el objetivo de sus fabricantes será que sea los más competitivo posible. La diferencia, en principio, sería entre 25 y 30 por ciento más caro que con un tractor convencional.
